That word became Women’s Day, and it became everything that has grown up around it since. We are women who pray together, who talk honestly with each other, and who watch God move in our midst.

If there is one thing to know about us, it is this: we have active women in this church.

Women’s Day

Once a year we set aside a day that belongs to the women. We come together and we eat together. We preach the gospel together. We dance. There is a message that reaches a woman where she actually lives, sometimes from a guest we invite, sometimes from among ourselves. And we act drama built around the theme for that year.

Every year carries its own theme, so no two Women’s Days are quite the same. And everyone is welcome: not only members, and not only women. Members and visitors, men and children are all welcome to come. The most recent Women’s Day was 21 June 2026.

Ladies, Let’s Chat

This is where the women come together and talk properly. It runs online, at least twice a year. Someone raises a problem, and we discuss it together: the problem and the way through it. Things get said out loud that needed saying, and women leave having received something in the process.

Thursday prayer

Every Thursday the women meet on Zoom and pray together for an hour. This is the gathering known as When Women Pray Like Women. The day and time sit in the weekly rhythm on this page.

The retreat

Once a year the women go away together for a few days. We pray without stopping, and God shows his power in our midst. It is the part of the year many of the women look forward to most.

The next retreat runs from Friday 11 to Sunday 13 September, with the theme Oh Lord our help in Ages Past (Psalm 90). Registration is open; details are on the Events page.

Night of Manifestation

It is always a powerful night. God manifests his power among us. There is deliverance; women are set free; there is prophecy over the women. People come away different from how they arrived.

It is its own event with its own date, at least twice a year, and each one is announced on the Events page as it is set.
