Ushering
The first smile you meet: welcome, seating, order, and offering.
Ushers are often described as the police of the church. They maintain order, welcome and greet people warmly whatever mood they arrive in, and make sure everyone is well seated and cared for. The team works hand in hand with the protocol team, especially for special programmes and guest ministers.
Ushers also handle the offering and the tithes and make sure everything is accounted for, and they pray for the church.
After service the team collects dropped bulletins, helps the Sanctuary team, returns the offering containers to their place, and keeps the space orderly.

Serving with us
Holiness first. An usher needs a real relationship with God, being genuinely born again, with a prayer life.
Come with the mindset that you are here to serve God and people, not to sit or to play. Ushers are attentive and on their feet throughout the service, alert to support anyone as the service moves.
