The Protocol team keeps the flow of the service and cares for the details that let everything run with order and honour. They attend to guests and ministers, help things move smoothly from one part of the service to the next, and make sure the house is ready and dignified.
Often working alongside the ushers, they are part of why a service feels calm, ordered and unhurried, even with everything happening behind the scenes.
